ABOUT THIS PROJECT

While teaching during the 2020-21 school year, students and families were having to juggle a variety of Zoom links, codes, and times, rotating schedules, and a variety of learning platforms. I created a website that could be a one stop link for all of the information they would for my class.

PROCESS: After hearing feedback from overwhelmed students and families, I wanted to make information concise, reliable, and easy to access for my classes.

TYPE: Virtual learning, asynchronous, synchronous

CLIENT: Duncanville students and families

TOOLS USED: Google Suite, Microsoft Powerpoint, Zoom, Google Classroom

Information was broken up by grade level to avoid confusion about class times or teachers. I made each grade a different color and animal to help non English speakers as well as non-reading students to be able to recognize.

I filmed and edited videos on how to access and use the required platforms on any device.
